No, every file is processed locally on your computer or your server, and never uploaded.
Will PDFsam Automatic be free?
No, PDFsam Automatic will be a paid app. There is no price yet, people on the list get 30% off when they buy within 30 days of launch.
Will it work on servers?
Yes, it is meant to run unattended. It runs in the background as a service, even when nobody is logged in.
How is it different from PDFsam Visual?
PDFsam Visual is for interactive work, you open a file and decide what to do with it. PDFsam Automatic runs the same tasks on its own, on every file that lands in a folder.
